About Me

Welcome! I first want to take a moment to tell you that I appreciate the fact you have taken the first steps in seeking counseling support. I can help!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and how I plan to support you.

I have a master's degree in Counseling (2006) and am a Licensed Marriage, Family & Child Therapist in California. I have spent time throughout my 13 year career working with individuals, families and children who are seeking support for life's journey. I have experience working with those who have experienced trauma and abuse, serious illness, grief and loss, relationships/marriage concerns and life adjustments. I'm also currently providing counseling to active duty military and their families.

When we connect, I want to ensure you receive all of the support you are seeking. I generally tend to check messages and respond to messages 1-2 times per day, 7 days a week. If you feel you would like more dedicated time, then a 1-1 session would be best. Those sessions take place Monday through Thursday in the evenings and Sunday mornings. My counseling style involves working with you to create goals, reach insight and providing tools to enhance your therapy experience. I will be primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused therapy in our sessions, interspersed with a variety of other techniques. It will involve work on your part, but if we both put in the effort and time it will be a fruitful experience!

I look forward to connecting with and supporting you!

Jen is wonderful! She is such a wise and helpful therapist. Not sure where I’d be without her guidance over the last few months!

Jennifer Marsh has been a wonderful therapist- she helped me through a really tough time. Her expertise with cognitive behavioral therapy has taught me to reframe things so I'm less likely to lapse into negativity or catastrophising. She also helped me process grief, both old and new. A bonus, she has a great sense of humor :) highly recommend!

Jen is really sweet and funny. I only had a couple of sessions with her but I know she will be a great help to someone in need. She has a happy personality and gives people the space to talk. I think she would be a good fit for someone who is looking for the type of counselor that listens well and doesn’t interject much.

I had no idea how life-changing therapy could be until I started working with Jen. She was the first counselor I had that really, truly wanted to help and took the time to get to know me. Her counseling style works perfectly for me - she balances the difficult parts of therapy with her humor and sincerity. We’ve worked together for quite a while (I had a ton to unpack) and I am amazed by how far I’ve come. Choosing to work with her was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Jen has been a kind of light at the end of the tunnel and our sessions are something I look forward to every week. She's creating a space where I feel safe and free to express myself at my own pace. It is my first time doing any type of formal counseling and I was not sure what to expect, but I have appreciated the experiences enough where I have recommended this service to others. That wouldn't be possible without my councilor Jennifer.

She’s great, I went through a few counselors and with her in so little time I feel a great connection. She’s responsive along with my busy schedule, she’s super patient, checks in and keeps in touch. So far I can say that I am blessed to come across this therapeutic app and a great counselor.
