About Me

If you are reading this bio, you might be ready to jump into counseling. Trust me, I understand how anxious you might feel right now about starting this journey. That is why I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore and process any challenges you face to achieve the change and growth that you seek. I am no stranger to counseling myself, in fact, my professional journey led me to counseling after I needed a counselor to come alongside me during a tough season in my life. I believe that counseling is a helping hand when life can become too much to handle alone.

I have a master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University – Commerce, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. I am passionate about working with adults as they navigate through life's various struggles including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. I believe that everyone’s experience is unique which is why I partner with each of my clients to process their challenges and help them overcome difficult seasons in their lives. As a result, I do not believe in using a cookie cutter approach. I want to learn more about you, what brings you to therapy, and collaborate with you on reaching your individual goals. I like to arm my clients with tools for their toolbox so that they can learn to manage the curve balls that life throws their way.

I am amazed at how I feel BEFORE and AFTER each session. They are two totally different feelings. Just to feel like you have a trusted, safe place of someone to listen and interject when needed, Jennifer has been that and more. I can tell when schedules cause me to miss a week, I am not the same.
