About me

My name is Jennifer Myers. I was born and raised in Missouri. I received my master's in social work from Missouri State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Since 2015 I have been providing therapy specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, mood disturbances, relationship issues, sexual abuse, and survivors of dysfunctional families. My counseling style is empathetic, non-judgmental, yet direct if I believe it will be helpful . I believe we are all doing our best. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and emotion-based counseling. I have also been trained in EMDR for trauma. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your individual needs.

I have been through a few therapists lately and so far Jennifer is the ONLY one I have felt comfortable enough with to begin opening up. She validates my feelings and is always responsive when I need it

Jennifer is a very supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental listener. Her emotional intelligence and advice have helped me get through my crisis, to better understand my own emotions, and she has played an important role in my personal development. I’m so thankful and I could not have asked for a better counselor!
