About me

Welcome! Thank you for taking one of the hardest steps in making a change in your life by reaching out and exploring your therapeutic options. Finding the right person to help you during this journey is very important and I’d like to take this time to tell you some information about me in order to help you decide if my experience and style will be a good match for you.
I have been a social worker for 5 years and am also a retired Air Force Veteran. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2015, starting my second career as a clinical social worker working on an inpatient unit with military members struggling with trauma and substance abuse to working in outpatient settings. Much of my experiences has been working with military members, veterans, and their families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, insomnia, and adjustment difficulties to name a few areas of focus.
You can expect me to walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing and help you learn more about yourself and the way you engage with the world. We can interact in whatever manner you are most comfortable. A majority of my video and phone availability is in the evenings and on the weekends but I check messages at least once a day, except for Sunday when I take a reset day. Please note that what you see in my calendar may not reflect my only availability so you always want to check that out with me through messaging first.
It takes strength and courage to make changes to move into a more fulfilling and happier life. I am here to support and empower you in this new life chapter.
