I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory Designation. I have been a practicing therapist for 5 years and have been fortunate to help many people work through incidents of depression, panic, anxiety, and trauma. I am honored to be in a helping profession and believe that each individual already has within themselves all the skills and tools they need to recover from their mental health problems. As a therapist, my role is to help elicit those skills from each individual and act as a guide and support person through that process.
I received a Master's Degree in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Boston University. I have 10 years experience in other social service positions, and these include working in a hospital setting, a drug and alcohol facility and with children and families dealing with trauma and abuse.
My therapeutic philosophy is client centered and rooted in evidence-based techniques and research. I incorporate these evidence-based interventions into my interactions and am excited to apply these to your unique situations in order to see effective results.
