Dr. Jennifer Rogers

(PhD, LPC)

About Me

Greetings! My name is Dr. Jennifer Rogers and I work with people who feel stuck and need some help to move forward in life. A little about me, I am a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator who has been helping people for over 20 years. I love to work with people and help them achieve their goals, improve their relationships and help them develop skills to promote a healthy work/life balance.
In our work together, I aim to provide an environment that will allow for growth and that you come away with skills you can use in other areas of your life. The counselor-client relationship is one that is built on trust and communication. I am here to listen to you and will do my best to provide you with strategies to help you. We will spend our time together discussing what is troubling you. We may talk about your current problems or things that have happened in the past. I want to understand your life as you understand it, to learn about your perspective.
My treatment approach is client-centered and solution focused. I use different modalities depending on your needs such as mindfulness, experiential therapy, trauma informed and CBT. I also provide consulting, professional development and leadership support for individuals and organizations exploring social, emotional, and behavioral interventions in school environments with Rogers Training Solutions, LLC. I work with clients who are educators to provide skills and strategies for increasing positive outcomes for schools, students, and staff.
As your counselor, I will help you develop a plan that promotes well-being and balance to your life. There may be times that this is challenging but know that I am in your corner. And at times we may need to alter the plan because of new information or self-discoveries. But this is all part of the work.
I appreciate you taking the time to invest in yourself and I look forward to seeing you thrive!

Dr. Rogers is extremely knowledgeable and better yet I’ve found her easy to talk to. She has helped me better understand myself and how my past might have affected me. I look forward to continuing to have sessions with her and continuing our work together.

Dr. Rogers is an amazing therapist who truly is on your side. She listens patiently without judgement but is still not afraid to challenge you to face obstacles in your life. I have worked with her for a little over a month now and it is amazing to see so many of my original concerns coming back to a separate issue from my past. It is so enlightening and especially empowering to feel a sense of understanding of my own life and why I feel the way that I do. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers!
