About Me

Greetings! My name is Dr. Jennifer Rogers and I work with people who feel stuck and need some help to move forward in life. A little about me, I am a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator who has been helping people for over 20 years. I love to work with people and help them achieve their goals, improve their relationships and help them develop skills to promote a healthy work/life balance.
In our work together, I aim to provide an environment that will allow for growth and that you come away with skills you can use in other areas of your life. The counselor-client relationship is one that is built on trust and communication. I am here to listen to you and will do my best to provide you with strategies to help you. We will spend our time together discussing what is troubling you. We may talk about your current problems or things that have happened in the past. I want to understand your life as you understand it, to learn about your perspective.
My treatment approach is client-centered and solution focused. I use different modalities depending on your needs such as mindfulness, experiential therapy, trauma informed and CBT. I also provide consulting, professional development and leadership support for individuals and organizations exploring social, emotional, and behavioral interventions in school environments with Rogers Training Solutions, LLC. I work with clients who are educators to provide skills and strategies for increasing positive outcomes for schools, students, and staff.
As your counselor, I will help you develop a plan that promotes well-being and balance to your life. There may be times that this is challenging but know that I am in your corner. And at times we may need to alter the plan because of new information or self-discoveries. But this is all part of the work.
I appreciate you taking the time to invest in yourself and I look forward to seeing you thrive!

Dr. Rogers has helped me immensely working my way through a depression and lots of anxiety. She’s been the perfect person to talk to through this really tough time and having a non-biased, insightful person on my side has been incredible helpful. She’s the best!

I had several latent mental health challenges that plagued me for years and had reached out to other therapists with little success. With other therapists at times I didn't feel heard or I felt rushed into goals that didn't match what I felt were my main challenges.

With Dr. Rogers I never once felt unheard. She took the time to get to know me, learn about the other people in my life and and slowly we uncovered the roots of many of my struggles. We identified numerous things I didn't know I struggled with and worked together to address their causes and mitigate their effects. Over the course of 10 months she helped me develop the tools to identify when and why I might be going off course, which has enabled me to reflect in the moment or shortly after an incident. These tools have helped me build stronger bonds with my family and partner, which I absolutely could not have done without the help of Dr. Rogers.

Dr. Rogers is kind, patient, thoughtful and thorough. I could not have asked for a better therapist. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in search of a therapist.

I have been in and out of counseling for the past 6 years and have had a total of 4 therapists and Dr. Rogers has been my favorite so far! I worked with Dr. Rogers for about 7 months and I enjoyed the way she held space for me, my experiences, and my emotions with compassion yet was still able to push me when needed to explore and make changes. I felt like I could really open up without fear or concern because of her kind nature, relatability, and the structure and knowledge she provided.

Dr. Rogers is extremely knowledgeable and better yet I’ve found her easy to talk to. She has helped me better understand myself and how my past might have affected me. I look forward to continuing to have sessions with her and continuing our work together.

Dr. Rogers is an amazing therapist who truly is on your side. She listens patiently without judgement but is still not afraid to challenge you to face obstacles in your life. I have worked with her for a little over a month now and it is amazing to see so many of my original concerns coming back to a separate issue from my past. It is so enlightening and especially empowering to feel a sense of understanding of my own life and why I feel the way that I do. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers!
