About Me

Welcome! Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Michigan with experience working with adults, adolescents, families and couples. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Wayne State University with an interest in mental heath and substance use. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT), an evidence based treatment that is an effective combination of talk therapy and behavioral therapy. Changing how we think helps change our feelings, actions and ultimately decisions.

I have experience treating an array of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, substance use disorders, self-esteem and relationship problems. My approach in providing therapy is collaborative, client-centered, supportive and strengths-based. While we are on this journey together you will determine your own goals and be in the driver seat of your treatment. I will provide objective guidance, challenge and support. I will listen without judgment, help you to identify your strengths and uncover your true potential. I believe the purpose of counseling is to help you increase your happiness and together we can do that!

I look forward to working with you!

Jennifer has been a great help to me since I started using Better Help. I appreciate that she’s honest and encourages me to push myself even when I feel that I’m at low points. She always listens and never rushes the conversation. She’s patient and has given me some extremely helpful tips for combating my anxiety and depression.
