Jennifer Staggs, LCSW
About me
Hello and welcome to the first step to making positive changes in your life. My name is Jennifer Staggs and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona. I earned my Bachelor Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007. I completed my Masters Degree in Social Work from Aurora University in Illinois in 2014. I started working in community mental health in Arizona after completing my Bachelors Degree and continued this placement after earning my Masters Degree. I also have experience with crisis intervention work.
I like meeting my clients where they are and taking steps to well-being together. I work hard to be an open and non-judgmental therapist and help my clients to feel accepted in a world that may feel very lonely. I have experience working with symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, motivation, major life changes and addiction. I use a wide range of different therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, client centered approach, and solution focused treatment or a combination of these.
I am so happy that you have made a choice to make changes in your life. I hope that I have an opportunity to be a part of this amazing journey with you. You can message me anytime on BetterHelp and will be checking messages regularly. My availability is during the day Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. If this does not work, please message me and we can discuss options and I am sure that we will be able to find something that works.
I am looking forward to meeting you!

Jennifer is great. She's been incredibly caring and supportive. I have a bit of a unique mental disorder and she has done everything she can to help and worked with me on self esteem and confidence. Been flexible when I needed to adjust or move appointments. Could not recommend her more!
