About me

I am a License Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years experience in the counseling world. I have knowledge and understanding in grief and loss, anger management, depression, anxiety, relationships and communication, and addiction. I have experience working in a nursing home, providing services to patients and their families. In my four years there, I have also worked with patients on Hospice care. I have worked in a mental health counseling center, providing both individual and group therapy to dual-diagnosis patients. I have worked in inpatient hospital settings working with crisis patients, providing group, individual, and family therapy. Aside from my professional experience, I have interned in a chemical dependency program and a borderline personality disorder nonprofit organization.

My experience working with individuals and groups, along with your openness and honesty, would be a great platform to start working on your personal goals. Clients and patients have described me as someone who is easy to talk to, reliable, and compassionate, with a sense of realism and being “no bullshit.” I am able to recognize issues quickly and help you work through them to find a solution wherever possible.

Obtaining my Masters and Licensure in Mental Health Counseling has given me the understanding of different modalities, allowing me to work with you in a way that works for you.
