Jennifer Venable-Humphrey, LICSW
About me
I am a clinical social worker with more 20 years of experience in helping clients improve their lives. I believe therapy should be goal-oriented and client-driven. I utilize a strengths-based approach that starts with what is strong rather than what is wrong. This strengths based approach stems from my belief that everyone can set and reach goals in their life. My training in social work lends itself to a holistic approach to helping people. Consequently, I seek to treat the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
My clinical interests include grief and loss, helping families navigate transitions, addiction recovery, and mood disorders and disregulation.
Your initial appointment will be an opportunity for us to assess your strengths and needs. Together we will develop a treatment plan and implement new coping skills that address the changes you seek in your life.

Am grateful for Jennifer's experience in therapy and counseling. Have been working through a divorce, move, job change, in addition to COVID. I appreciate her advice and was nervous because I really liked my previous therapist. Jennifer is a great counseler and would recommend her services to others. A couple of months in have been going well and this is helping me cope.
