About me

Do you want to better yourself and your life but are not quite sure where to start? Do you miss the spontaneity and thrill of romance early in your relationship? You have come to the right place!

I graduated from the University of Miami with a Master of Social Work degree and a minor in Spanish. I am dually and independently licensed in mental health (Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor or LISW-S) and substance abuse (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor).

I am passionate about helping individuals and families overcome life's challenges and achieve their goals. With 6 years of experience in the field of social work, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and the impact that social, emotional, and environmental factors can have on our lives.

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a deep respect for each individual's unique experiences and perspectives. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and I am committed to helping my clients tap into their inner strengths and resources to achieve their full potential.

As a licensed Independent Social Worker, I specialize in addiction, trauma, sex, gender and sexuality concerns. I understand that these areas can be particularly challenging to navigate, and I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for you to explore your experiences and work towards healing and growth.

In my work with addiction, I utilize a holistic approach that addresses the underlying emotional, psychological, and social factors that contribute to substance use. We will work to develop coping skills, build support networks, and develop a sense of self-worth and purpose that can help you maintain sobriety and achieve your goals.

Trauma can have a profound impact on our lives, and I am dedicated to helping my clients heal from the effects of past experiences. I utilize evidence-based practices such as EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help process trauma and develop a sense of safety and empowerment.

As a woman and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the unique challenges that these groups can face. I am committed to providing a safe and affirming space for my clients to explore their identities and experiences, and I work to empower them to live authentically and confidently.

If you are looking for a therapist who is warm, caring, and committed to helping you achieve your goals, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to working with you!
