About Me

A native to the Seattle area, I have always been an unorthodox person from a very young age, so it is no surprise that my practice is an integration of my professional background and intuitive, unique style. Valuing professional training, I began my career as a drug/alcohol counselor, after graduating from Washington State University in 1996, with a BS in Psychology and Minor in Alcohol Studies. I worked in agency and school based settings for 15 years. I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health counseling from Seattle University, 2005, opening my private practice thereafter. Valuing intuition and the body-mind connection, I became a state certified Reiki Master in 2005, in order to bring this powerful healing energy technique into the counseling experience.

I have expertise in such areas of addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, family of origin issues, self esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, spirituality, and intuition. Supporting diversity, I work with people from adolescence and up, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, abilities, and sexual orientation. All are welcome.

My goal is to assist you in finding or re-learning to trust your inner voice to help you more effectively deal with past trauma, or challenging family or social situations. I am highly intuitive, assisting you to clear what is blocking you energetically on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels.

I think Jennifer is a great counselor. I did not mean to click the button that said she didn’t respond, she always does.

Jennifer has been really good at getting to the root of the problem for me. She has been very good about communicating with me and giving me things to try. She even checks in on me when I withdraw and don't respond quickly. I would definitely recommend her.

I started talking to Jennifer in a time that I had noticed some patterns within myself and my life that I didn’t like and didn’t want to continue anymore. She helped direct me into some self reflection, and kept me focused on the issue at hand when I inadvertently tried to swerve away from the pointed questions that were asked. I really appreciate her language, and she gets back to me fairly quickly, at least once a day.

I would certainly recommend Jennifer as someone to work with.

Jennifer listens to me and what all I am going through, gives me constructive ways to handle future situations and let’s me know what I can do on my end to begin to heal and grow and heal.
