Dr. Jenny "Karina" Rieke, LMHC, LCPC
About me
As a bilingual (English/Spanish) License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to adults, Couples, and families my goal is to assist you in finding the right path for you and/or your family. I provide Psychotherapy for depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders for marital conflict/couples, individual's, adolescents, and families. For those interested, we can incorporate a holistic approach with meditation and breathing techniques into our psychotherapy sessions, which have been shown to be effective in treating anxiety and depressive symptoms.
I am a Licensed counselor, couple and Family Therapist in Florida, Nevada, and New York with over a decade of clinical experience supporting individuals, couples, and families on their path toward healing and growth. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting challenges, trauma, emotional abuse, and career transitions.
My therapy style is warm, interactive, and grounded in compassion. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and sensitivity never through stigmatizing labels. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, and Rational-Emotive techniques, allowing me to tailor each session to your unique needs and goals. Together, we focus on cultivating awareness, resilience, and personal empowerment.
Beyond the therapy room, I bring a deep passion for mindfulness, movement, and mental health. As a certified running coach (RRCA and USATF Levels 1 & 2) and a marathon runner—having completed the New York City and Berlin Marathons. I understand the profound connection between the mind, body, and emotional well-being. Running and mindfulness have shaped not only my personal journey but also the integrative philosophy I bring to my work with clients.
I am also an author and researcher, exploring the intersections of mental health, mindfulness, poetry, and endurance. My writing delves into themes of emotional awareness, healing, and the transformative power of presence. Through my books and research, I aim to bridge psychology with creativity and the art of living mindfully.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling, balanced, and meaningful life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support, guide, and empower you every mile of the way.
I look forward to working with you.
