About me

Hi, my name is Jerah Griggs and I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience in the counseling and mental health fields. I earned a Masters of Education in Community Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Though I have lived and worked in several states over the years, I am currently licensed and practicing in Pennsylvania.

I have experience helping clients work through issues related to and including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, career challenges, military-lifestyle related issues, relationship and parenting issues, as well as self-esteem and confidence issues.

My approach to therapy is supportive and empathic, fostering introspection, self-awareness and growth. I am accepting and supportive of all people. In a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental counseling relationship, we will work through the issues that are causing you concern and have become obstacles in allowing you to live your best life. We will work together to identify your strengths, helping you to develop a deeper sense of awareness and reach your full potential.

I’m so happy you’re ready to take that first step in improving your life. I’m here to help!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Jerah Griggs. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Jerah is an amazing therapist. I’ve been with her for awhile now and still makes me feel as though my feelings are validated and that it is ok to feel the way I do about various things. She is my #1 supporter and ends the session all the time saying how I’m an amazing person. If only the world had therapists like her, we would see change amongst ourselves.
