Jeremy Adversalo

About Me

Hello. My name is Jeremy Adversalo, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon. As a counselor for over 10 years, I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief / loss, and challenging life transitions.

I'm trained cognitive-behavioral therapy, and over the years, I've incorporated mindfulness-based techniques into my practice. Furthermore, I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and tailoring treatment that best fits my clients' needs is at the heart of my approach. Through this collaborative process, we will work together to identify your own personal goals and discover ways to overcome challenges and enhance your life.

It's an absolute privilege to help people, and I'm grateful for their courage and trust. Mental health counseling can sometimes feel scary, and I will make every effort to ensure a comfortable, compassionate, respectful, and inviting space for my clients.

Thank you and I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Reviews

Written by D.R. on Jul 21, 2021 after counseling with Jeremy for 1 month on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief, eating disorders, sleeping disorders, self esteem, anger management, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue

I struggled a lot being afraid of counseling and facing my issues. It took me years to make it to the point where I forced myself to start the process. After just the first session with Jeremy, he completely put me at ease. He has a very calm and easy going demeanor that makes opening up to him a breeze. I can tell he is actively listening to me and his advice immediately helped me make changes in my life. If you are unsure or scared to start your process, Jeremy is a wonderful choice for you and will help you through whatever this life is throwing your way.
