Jerre Ader

(LPC, Life, Coach)

About Me

I have been a licensed professional counselor for 15 years working in a variety of settings. I was a University counselor and taught courses in psychology. I have worked for non-profits working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. I have experience working in a psychiatric hospital and in private practice. Most recently I studied Attachment theory and Interpersonal Neurobiology and wrote a book titled New Rules For Positive Parenting. The way you show love has a lot to do with how you were loved. Your relationship style was developed long before you started forming relationships. I help people discover their relationship style and how it impacts the relationships in their life. If you are looking to improve your relationship with your partner/spouse, your parents, your siblings, your children, or your boss you must begin with the most important one, with yourself. Making sense of your childhood narrative and healing wounds of attachment helps you develop a healthy secure way of relating. My website is www.jerreaderlifecoach.com.

I went through a couple of other counsellors on this site before being comfortable and feeling like I was actually being listened to AND helped with Ms. Ader. My experience in this short period has already been helpful and beneficial!!
