Do you find yourself repeating habits or activities you’ve wanted to change? Have you discovered that time doesn’t actually heal all wounds? Would you like to feel more present, authentic and connected to yourself and others?
I help create a safe space to explore these questions. I will come along side you, learn about you and the strengths you already have, and help you build a plan for recovery. I can employ many different methods to help, but ultimately the only treatment I am interested in is the one that works for you.
I practice ‘unconditional positive regard’. I think you are heroic for seeking help. I believe you hold the keys to your own recovery, and I will help you fit them to the locks that are holding you back. I will be a helper, a supporter, and a confidante.
Spirituality can be a great help to some in times of need, but it can also be a hindrance and embody judgement, guilt, and shame. I am well versed in both sides of this coin, and can engage with a variety of spiritual practices. I can also exclude this aspect in therapy if desired, or help you find healing from spiritual abuse.

I got a lot out of sessions with Jesse. He is open-minded and collaborative, but also has a very solid toolbox to support me with as I brave the deep. Jesse also has a great capacity to hold space for experience and emotion. He is patient and acts like he’s on your team.

Jesse is an incredible counselor. I always feel better just having the space to share what I’m going through at any time of day. He helps me analyze what I’m going through and reflect in a non judge mental way. Which when you feel a mess, it’s easy to feel ashamed. I frequently use the tools he gives me to improve moments of my life. I am very grateful to have his guidance and ear.

Jesse is an awesome therapist to work with! He's super real and relatable and I never feel any judgments for expressing how I truly feel in the moment. I've visited other therapists before and have tried numerous styles of therapy (medication, meditation, reiki, CBT, etc.) and the system he uses has been the most effective for me. My partner has told me that they can see the difference in my outlook and behaviors since starting our therapy sessions. Highly recommend.

I will be ever thankful for Jesse’s validating, encouraging and compassionate guidance. Seeking help to resolve a few complex issues I stumbled upon faithfulcounseling.com, and in four short months of working with Jesse Daso, my quality of life has greatly improved. I feel far happier and more secure with myself and in my marriage. Jesse asked direct questions to understand and get to the heart of my difficulties and was quick to offer a method of healing; he took my problems seriously and his responses were thoughtful and clear. Jesse provided a safe environment for me to be completely open and honest, to expose my deep hurts, and he has taught me the beauty, necessity and power of self-compassion to heal and be free from my old wounds and trauma. Now I am equipped with the skills and resources I need to confidently carry forward on my healing journey. Thank you, Jesse!

Jesse has a wonderful way of providing support while also challenging limiting beliefs. He has fantastic ideas when it comes to practical steps to move through challenges. He has done a great job of weaving biblical truths into our conversations while not dismissing feelings with a “Jesus bandaid”. I’m very grateful that I was matched with Jesse.

Jesse is the really the best counselor, I can tell him everything and not feel judged, he understands me and he is so helpful his advice is just mind-blowing and his care is so rare. He responds at everything that I say so I feel like I talk with a friend who is also a great therapist. What I love the most is that he gives me homework that helps me work with my struggles and I really feel that I grow stronger every day, he is just amazing I strongly recommend Jesse Deso
