I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years experience working with children, adults, couples, and families in various settings. I am a military veteran and have worked with individuals from various backgrounds and varying acculturation levels as well as provided supervision of interns. I graduated in 2011 with a Masters in Psychology with Marriage and Family Therapy and completed a certification training to supervise the Functional Family Therapy team at my previous place of business.
Some people struggle with life transitions such as developmental changes in a family, divorce, or job challenges. Others have issues with depression, anxiety, trauma, mental illness, substance abuse, or relationship issues. I believe that counseling offers healing, growth, and clarification for clients of all kinds as they courageously decide to work with me in a safe and confidential environment. I strive to create a warm, safe, trusting and positive therapeutic relationship and environment free from judgment. I believe that each individual has the ability for growth and change and I would like to assist in that process while encouraging congruence between one's beliefs, values and behaviors. I draw from a variety of therapeutic orientations and methods, my style tends to be strongly interpersonal and integrative and I strive to tailor therapy to fit each individual according to their unique situation and goals.
Outside of providing therapy to clients, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a new mother to a beautiful little girl and 2 feisty English Bulldogs! My husband is active duty military so we tend to move around a lot, We enjoy traveling and camping in our travel trailer and spending time near the water.
I appreciate the courage it takes to make this first step and I look forward to working with you!

After 2 weeks talking to Jessica, I see an honesty in her and feel she is really trying to help. It is very comfortable working with her.
She’s pretty good! She listens to you and takes her time to explain things and send you stuff about what’s going on with you to make sure you can understand about certain things. She checks on you to see if you are ok too. Thank you so much!
Everything was great. Thank you.
Sometimes I feel really immature for the stuff that I tell her, yet she’s never made me feel like my feelings were not okay. She’s offers help and looking at things from a different view. I appreciate her more than I could ever explain. Thank you Jessica!
Professional, understanding and mindful. She knows how to guide me to become the best version of myself.
Jessica is amazing! She is attentive she listens she brings out the best in you. She’s good at seeing bad in a situation and tells you about it. I love working with her it brings me comfort! Thank you Jessica for you have done and are doing!
Jessica is very good at what she does. She has taught me things that a 50+ year old should know.
Jessica responds thoughtfully with a perspective that helps give me new perspective. I feel heard and she acts as a great sounding board to help me cope better. I like her and feel she is helping me.
Jessica is a friendly and personable counselor with a wealth of experience and tips. She is frequently available and has been able to help me many times with situations and offer reflections that I do not see as I am too close to the situation
I have enjoyed working with Jessica. At first, things were a bit stiff and awkward, I guess that is how most counseling gets started, but once we both understood the parameters things got a lot better. She has helped me through a particularly difficult and dark time these past few months and I appreciate her help.
She's an outstanding counselor. Educated and analytical about my issues. Plus, her compassion is a wonderful addition to her practice.
Jessica has been very helpful in validating my feelings - which is huge because I've been scared to acknowledge to myself how I really feel. Having somebody tell me it's okay to feel these things is exactly what I needed. She also asks insightful questions, designed to help me really analyze how I'm feeling, how I got here, and where I go next.
It’s been very helpful - nice outlet.
Jessica has not only helped me with her suggestions, but has also asked questions and made statements that encouraged me to look at myself differently. She has helped me immensely.
Jessica helped me so much over the last month. She even brought up different types of therapy I have never heard of. I’m so thankful that I can now explore these other types of therapy for a more whole approach. Thank you so much Jessica!
Jessica is a good listener; she can analyze your situation and she's not only there for you but she will give you good advice or a good point of view of the situation so you can improve your life by applying good actions for every matter
