About me
Welcome to your first step towards a happier, healthier life! I believe in the importance in developing a therapeutic relationship built on trust and openness to ensure a non-judgmental and inviting environment. Just as each person is different, I conduct my therapeutic approach around each individual to find the most productive way to greater emotional health. Through warmth, guidance and hope, I believe it takes a team effort to gain insight into one’s challenges in order to make lasting change. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, and couples/family therapy. It is my ultimate goal to empower clients to become self-motivated and self-aware to make the necessary changes and achieve a better quality of life. Personally, I have been in therapy throughout my life and understand the importance of feeling comfortable with who you are unloading your deepest self to!
I completed my Master's Degree in Counseling, concentrating in Couples, Marriage, and Family therapy from Kutztown University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. My experience includes working in a community mental health agency, private practice, and partial hospitalization program. I enjoy working with adults using integrative therapies including Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, Cognitive Behavioral, and Person-Centered.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography, crafting, kayaking, spending time outdoors, and playing with my dog, Benny! I hope to take the next step with you towards emotional relief and self-empowerment!

Obviously we aren't that far along but I feel comfortable opening up to Jessica. I think she manages my personality well. She is very respectful and professional but not up tight which would put me off.

Jess has been amazing to work with! She is so great at listening and providing thoughtful answers to the issues I present to her. She has helped me work a great deal through strengthening my personal identity and confidence, as well as how I handle romantic, family, and friend relationships. She's an amazing therapist/counselor and I would definitely recommend her.
