About Me

We all experience life’s challenges, heartache and unexpected transitions. These times can be overwhelming and taking the step to seek help can be uncomfortable. From personal experience, I understand that and want to provide a non-judgmental, compassionate and safe space to help you in your journey towards healing, adjustment to change and finding peace of mind. If you have suffered the loss of a loved one, are experiencing conflict in your relationships, have endured trauma or just in need of extra support, I want to develop an authentic and collaborative relationship with you so we can take the steps together to enable you to live the life you want. In this therapeutic process, you will find my style to be supportive, warm and engaging, direct and challenging. My goal is to empower you to find your strengths, gain clarity in your situation and transform your thoughts through this difficult time. I have an integrative approach and combine styles of person-centered, solution focused, cognitive behavior behavioral and interpersonal psychotherapy. I work with clients of all ages that are dealing with trauma, mood disorders, grief and loss, domestic violence, relationship dysfunction, addiction/substance use and racial discrimination.
