Hi! My name is Jessica, and I’m so glad you’re here. It takes strength and wisdom to decide to change, and to seek out counseling for assistance.
I understand how difficult it can be to seek out help. My personal experience with the mental health field is what motivated me to find my career as a counselor. I have experienced family members with mental health issues and have overcome mental health concerns in my own life. This experience has given me significant respect for my clients, as I can relate to the conflict they go through to decide to seek help. I can say firsthand that your life can truly change for the better when you seek support and make meaningful change.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and I have an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns, including mood concerns, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, personality disorders, and trauma. I also enjoy addressing attachment concerns, identity issues, self-esteem problems, and have experience with LGBTQIA concerns. My experience stems primarily from an outpatient setting, however I have worked in a crisis center and in in-home settings.
I consider myself to be an open-minded, collaborative counselor. My counseling style is primarily person-centered and insight-based, with us working together to make sense of your concerns and find ways to make lasting change. I also utilize evidence-based techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. The first few sessions will start out with person-centered therapy; sometimes, this is enough to help you find solutions on your own, but other times this helps us to determine the best suited theory to resolve your concerns.
I applaud you for taking the first steps toward a healthier, more positive life, and I look forward to working with you!

I have found Better Help an excellent platform to address mental health concerns and challenges. I have found having a variety of methods and the ability to talk to my counselor incredibly helpful. It gives me time to address challenges and questions in between sessions but also gives me some time to think about things more when I don't have the answer immediately. I have had more growth and learning with Jessica over the past few months with Jessica than any other attempt with therapy. I greatly appreciate the time Jessica spends working with me! I don't know what I would do without her.
Jessica has been awesome. We chatted only a few times on video but through messaging, she was there and helped me really figure out a lot of the issues I have and had in my life and helped guide me to really fix things. I highly recommend her!
Jessica is attentive and listens to my concerns and needs. She is patient which is what I needed at the time when I first started. Her compassion and understanding help me on my journey to emotional wellness.
Jessica showed genuine interest in me as a person before counseling even began. She hones in on goals and seems passionate about helping to reach them.
Makes me feel really comfortable to talk openly about what I am struggling with. It helps that no matter how large or small of a problem I’m having, we are still able to address it in a timely manner. It’s super helpful to have someone who allows video chat as well because it’s a useful tool! I’m just really grateful that I found this resource and that I was paired up with Jessica.
