About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University. I have over 10 years of experience working in the clinical field. I provide therapy to individuals (12 and older) and couples. My strongest belief is that therapy involves a collaboration between the client and the therapist and active participation is necessary to produce the most effective outcomes.

My practice, The Sage Collective was inspired out of the desire to move people from a life of default to a life of design. So often we live life on auto-pilot and forget to live and experience our life with purpose and intention. In a world where technology is front and center, our lives and our minds have become cluttered and disorganized. I strive to help you achieve balance, and believe that balance can only be achieved through intentional living.

I know and respect that everyone is different and unique and will show up in many different places of life's path. I use an integrative framework that incorporates aspects of existentialism, logotherapy, interpersonal, functional, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral based therapies. I believe that people are born for a unique purpose and that it is the responsibility of everyone to discover and find the meaning of their purpose. I believe that people are formed in relationships, and it is in relationships that we heal. I will likely bring emphasis to your past and present relationships, including, when appropriate, our relationship as therapist and client. Additionally, we will likely work to build deeper understanding and awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and values. When helpful, we will work to modify your habits and behaviors such that they are increasingly consistent with your identified values and goals.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Warmly,
Jessica LePage-Smith, LCSW

Jessica is so great! She is very warm, welcoming, and accepting. I never felt judged with her and I always felt understood. She makes sure that you are taken care and that you never feel like you’re just a number. I would definitely recommend her to anyone :)
