About Me

I am a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy in a variety of settings. I have worked across the lifespan but most enjoy working with adults of any age. I am grounded in a person-centered, strengths-based, whole-person approach. This means that I deeply value the lens through which you view yourself, your life, and your experiences, and seek to help you not just overcome difficulties and manage symptoms, but to live your life in a way that is consistent with your personal vision and values. I want my clients not just to survive, but to thrive, and I am continually in awe of the resiliency of the human spirit and how people rise above even the most difficult of situations to live meaningful lives. My style is compassionate, respectful and direct. I see you as the expert on your life, and my role as someone to guide, share observations, support trying new things, and to provide suggestions when desired. I use a variety of approaches / interventions, including short-term, more solution focused approaches, along with longer term exploration of the experiences that have shaped you, and the patterns in your life and relationships that may be blocking you from living your best life.
