About Me

Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker with a designation in the states of Tennessee and Arkansas. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with a certification in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method. I am also completing training in EMDR and hold a full certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to my practice, I work at an all-female school as the Mind and Body Wellness Educator to the freshmen students.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Counseling in 2013 and a master’s degree in Master of Social Work in 2016. I have significant experience working with teenagers, young adults, and adults. Specifically, I have significant experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, dissociation, eating disorders, some personality disorders, and co-dependency, using a unique blend of Internal Family Systems, inner child/ psychodynamic work, expressive arts therapies, and EMDR. I am passionate about finding a form of healing that works best for you. Many people want to feel differently or "better" and simply do not know how to articulate it. Together, we can find a way to navigate your experience. I also believe in incorporating spirituality into treatment for a deeper and more meaningful experience, though the incorporation of spirituality into your work, is entirely your preference.
Personally, I am an avid animal and nature lover, I enjoy practicing yoga, and am a very proud fur mama to my border collie-lab rescue, named Rudy. When I am not busy running my counseling practice, I try to remain as active as possible in the local community through volunteering. I love to travel and am on a personal mission to visit every state in the U.S. Lastly, I also devote time to present to colleagues and other professionals in the community through local and regional conferences.
