Dr. Jessica Stahl, Psychologist
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I have a private practice in downtown Nevada City, CA. I have been in practice for 12 years. I have experience working with a wide range of psychological issues ranging from severe to mild to moderate. I work mainly with adults. My areas of interest are working with anxiety, mood disorders, grief/loss, and trauma. I have a strong foundation in ethical and legal issues and strength-based helping practices. I believe in working from a client-centered approach to promote the client's wellbeing that reflects their values, needs, and goals.
I currently am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Depth psychology. I also draw mostly upon Sue Johnson's approach utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Approach to work with attachment based issues.
