About Me

My name is Jessica C Vann. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina. While I have been fully licensed for a brief period of time aI have been working in the counseling field since 2013. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, postpartum depression, and sexual health.

I take a client-centered approach to therapy and believe that the client is the expert on their lives. My counseling style is open, honest, and accepting! I believe clients come to therapy for an objective set of eyes to assist them through their journey. I combine CBT and solution-focused therapy with a client-centered approach. I have experience working with women between the ages of 18 and 45 around matters such as self-esteem, relationships, and sexual health. I also have experience working with couples, helping them in the early stages of their relationship, working through infidelity, or helping them to co-parent at the resolution of their relationship.

Seeing a therapist takes significant consideration, it is important to choose a counselor who is intellectually curious about people & passionate about helping them overcome obstacles. I am that counselor! I honor your story & appreciate you including me on your journey.

I so appreciate her.

She isn’t like any councilor have had so far. She’s free and open, and takes a much less serious approach to topics which makes me feel comfortable sharing them with her. I don’t feel belittled or anxious like other councilors, and I feel free to explore my mental health at my own pace rather than the pace of some plan. She is outstanding and I’d recommend her to anyone I know who’s struggling.

I was paired with Jessica within a couple of days and I am so thankful I was. I was dealing with relationship anxiety and issues and she was there for me with open, honest feedback that has helped me get a better grip on my thoughts. Thank you.

I love having Jessica as my councilor. She really spends time dissecting my thoughts and gives me honest feedback. Jessica had definitely made an impact even if it’s only been a few weeks.

I was very happy with how quickly I was able to find help with Jessica and BetterHelp. I was experiencing a brief moment of anxiety-ridden disruption while coming up on the end of my first semester of grad school in a foreign country and was able to find help immediately. Right away, I was given some tools that could help and had the overall feeling someone was there for me. Would definitely recommend!
