About me
We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, BUT rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.-Maya Angelou
We can either grow or stay stagnant through the life challenges, transitions and situations we face.
My name is Jewel Robinson, and I am a systems-based therapist trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I completed my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University, and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with minor in Psychology. My philosophy is we all have a self and what we need to succeed in life. But through life experiences and transitions, we sometimes forget our strengths because all we see is the difficulties in front of us, or we are clouded by the stress. I work off creating relationships to meet you exactly where you are, and I am grateful to work together and assist my clients in tackling whatever brings them in.
