I am a licensed mental health counselor in Iowa and have been working as a therapist for seven years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of life obstacles including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, grief, suicidal and self-harm behaviors and ADHD.
My counseling style is accepting and caring. I do not believe in labeling individuals. I use an approach that is based on the needs of my clients which my include CBT, EMDR, solution focused and mindfulness. I believe it is important to tailor therapy to meet your needs and goals.

I find Jill to be a great counsellor very friendly full of information. Very nice to talk to and helping me so far in our sessions.
Jill has been there for me and constantly check up on my progress. She has been really understanding so far, I highly recommend her to anyone who is reading this. I personally really like her friendly and comforting approach.
So far, Jill has been great. She seems very knowledgeable and understanding about my goals, where I am at now, and how I am trying to cope. I love how she checks in every few days, and makes sure everything is still good to go for our sessions. I would definitely recommend her if someone asked.
