About Me

Hello! Thanks for taking a peak into my page to learn more about me! I am a licensed bilingual clinical social worker from New York and I obtained my masters degree in social work from Adelphi University. I have been working as a clinician for over 8 years and as a supervisor for over 5 in various out patient settings and in-home. I have years of experience working with individuals, families, children (4 and up) and adolescents. Prior to obtaining my masters I worked with at risk youth for 5 years and advocated for families to remain together. I helped parents and children develop skills to reduce conflict through psycho education, role modeling, and teaching basic coping skills.

My style is eclectic to your need and I pull in your strengths and values to help empower you throughout treatment. I utilize CBT, DBT, structural family therapy, solution focused therapy and use a client centered approach. I would describe myself as warm, caring, and supportive. I believe therapy promotes healing and growth within individuals and families and hope to be a tool in helping you through your journey.

Thank you for taking a look into my page and I hope to be given the opportunity to help you .
