About Me

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Texas A&M in 2014. I've been a practicing therapist in hospice, inpatient psychiatric treatment, drug court and now private practice in the community. I have extensive experience working with those who are coping with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and trauma. Life transitions, relationship problems and personality disorders are also a specialty of mine.

Having the courage to acquire mental health care carries a social stigma. People often share with me that “maybe if I wasn’t so weak, I could get through this problem by myself”. I had some of the same feelings regarding therapy when I was much younger. Over time, I learned that therapy wasn’t a scary word, but a foundation of recovery for mental health. I hope to help you remove the stigma attached to “asking for help”. My most important goal is to make you feel more comfortable while asking for assistance. I look forward to meeting you!
