About me

Hi! Welcome!

My name is Jodi. I am a clinical mental health counselor licensed in Washington, Colorado, and Maine with several years of experience working as advocate for others. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: life adjustments, LGBTQ /identity issues, depression, anxiety, communication skills, goal setting, improving relationships, women's issues, and improving one's day to day quality of life.

My counseling style is directive and strengths-based. I believe in treating everyone with the same respect, concern, and genuineness. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, acceptance-commitment, and dialectical behavioral approaches. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship can foster a safe environment for clients, in which they are able to explore their deepest thoughts and feelings. My goal is for clients to be able to take responsibility for their lives, and find empowerment through being able to effectively problem-solve.

I am happy to walk alongside you, to support, and empower you so that you are able to come to a place of healing.

I look forward to working with you!
