About Me
My name is Joe and I have been working as a counselor since 2011. I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) as well as a LCDC (licensed chemical dependency counselor). I graduated with my Master of Social Work from New Mexico State University in 2011. Throughout my career I have worked with many different populations, and I have worked with many individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. The majority of my therapeutic experiences comes from working in traditional outpatient settings where I see all ages of individuals, and all demographics. My style of therapy is warm, empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I believe we have all the tools we need to reach our upmost potential, however sometimes we need help to guide us to tap back into ourselves and to find our true selves again.
I guide individuals through treatment with them in the driver’s seat! Together with the individual's input, we create a treatment plan. This plan is the blueprint for the treatment and the individual is the main contributor to the plan, and because it is a living document, it can updated, changed, etc. as needed. I am hopeful that I can be helpful for you! I congratulate you on this big step you are deciding to make!

Joe is amazing. He is kind and thoughtful while also challenging me. He has supported me through one of the hardest years of my life; through illness of my child, infidelity, divorce, anxiety. I highly recommend him.
Joe helped me find my way out of a dark place by being an attentive listener and giving me simple, actionable ways to take better care of myself. I can't thank him enough.
I would highly recommend Joe Ayoub, as he has been nothing but warm, kind and empathetic towards me since our first session. He is a great listener, while also making sure to summarize what he is hearing from me and offering helpful suggestions pertinent to my personal situation. He is open-minded, positive and encouraging with his counseling techniques. I am very grateful that I was paired with him through BetterHelp. Thank you, Joe!
