I see the therapy process as a partnership and the client (You) are the most important part of that process. It is your process and I see myself, as the therapist, as a part of the process like a guide. Feedback is important to me, as I can use this information to help guide you in the way that is most helpful. Most of my work is done in a model that is based on helping you find your strengths to resolve any problems that you identify. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, which helps you examine how what you think, and how you are thinking can impact your experiences. Also I focus on helping you find solutions to your situation and ways of looking at things that help you to find solutions. I also encourage people to find their own ways of self-care and rejuvenation, because all of us need to use the best self-care that we possibly can, in order to find the best quality of life for ourselves in this world.

Dr. Kallio is kind. She is a knowledgeable guide in helping a person understand themselves better plus a strong support in helping a person reach their goals.
Dr. Kallio is professional and warm. She listens and guide me. I have trust in her and she is helping me in a difficult moment of my life.
Dr. Kallio actually took interest in my life and allowed me to rant and rave about the going within it. She offers me insight into what goes on in my life which I could not see from the inside. She is a wonderful therapist and I hope she goes on to continue helping other people.
Well, I haven’t been involved with better help for very long but I do look forward to our meetings on Tuesdays my counselor is very attentive to the things I say and she just lets me ramble and then asks me things and makes me think. I have faith that we will have success. My counselor also gets back to me in a very timely manner and I like how she reiterates what we talked about because I know I’ll never remember!

So far I have been very happy with the support I have been receiving (it’s been about a month I think). Dr. Kallio is extremely helpful and talks to me like I’m a human with feelings (which I thought would be hard given it’s online and not in person but I’m very impressed with all of this) and I enjoy having her company when we do our live chats. She responds in a timely manner (so far I have not needed to use the urgent option). I really enjoy being able to message her whenever I have time and not feel rushed to respond.

Dr. Kallio is so helpful. She's really great at listening to every concern that I have and addressing all of the points that I put forward. She is only interested in helping others and I love that about her. She isn't very forceful in her conversations, which I like. I know most therapists would just go straight for the break you down and build you up concept, but Dr. Kallio is different. We only explore areas that are uncomfortable to discuss if I want to explore those areas. I am so glad I was able to connect with her.
I have been working with Dr. Kalio now for the past couple weeks. I feel heard during our sessions. She’s attentive, responsive and that makes me feel as though she cares about my wellbeing. So far so great!

She is very lovely, she makes me feel better everytime I read her messages and everytime I write stuff down for her to read, it lifts a lot of weight from me and I always know that she will read them and respond, so I don’t have to worry.
