About me

I have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with everything from severe and persistent mental health to helping people navigate life stage changes and everything else in between. My focus is primarily on developing insight into why we do what we do, and how we can change those patterns of behavior for ourselves. My worldview is that of looking at things through a systemic lens. This means I look at everything that impacts a person, from their families to their social circles and the systems our society has created. Relationship with my clients is the most important aspect of any type of therapy I engage in with my clients. I am also trained in EMDR, DBT, Attachment Focused EMDR to address trauma and emotion regulation.
