About Me
Please note that while I own an adult day center for people with Alzheimer's my counseling experience is vast and you can see the various things I am trained in if you read my full bio. If you are matched with me it means I have looked at your presenting issues and feel comfortable taking on your concerns. If I did not feel comfortable taking you on as a client I would not do this.

Johanna Jameson is awesome. She knows what she is doing. She genuinely listens for the purpose of understanding me. She’s helped me face the traumas I’ve experienced. She’s helped bring self awareness, self compassion and hope into my life. Johanna has helped to arm me with tools that I am using on a daily basis that will guide me through the minefield of triggers that has been my life. I am so hopeful - I can finally see a path to my healing.
I’m so blessed to have found a counselor who is so skilled and so compassionate! I truly believe that I am ‘doing the work’ simply because she is doing her job so well.
Thank you Johanna!
Awesome listener and very caring!
Really enjoy having Johanna as my therapist. She is a great listener and offers great tools to help me with my problems. I am thankful
Johanna has made the very difficult process of starting talk therapy become a natural part of my week. She is excellent at what she does and in putting people at ease. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Johanna is knowledgeable and caring. She has given me many tools for my toolkit. She has allowed me to see things from a different view point. She is kind, respected, caring, and comforting.
Ms. Jamenson is a great listener and well rounded and knowledgeable. I feel so comfortable talking to her about anything and everything that is going on in my life and she guides me and explains process of thinking and shows me another way to see my situaions. I recommend Ms. Jameson to anyone who is looking to better themselves in any area of their life.
Sincerely,
E.C.

Love her
Johanna has been terrific with me. She is very understanding.
Johanna is insightful, patient and always understands me.
Johanna is a great counselor.
I like her communication.
She is very helpful and understanding. She offered tools and techniques I could use to resolve my issues and get better. Highly recommended!
Johanna is amazing at what she does. I would recommend her to anyone. She's very patient and laid back.
Love her!!
Johanna was easy to talk to, listened to my concerns and provided both feedback and suggestions on what I can try moving forward. She made it clear that it's okay to let her know if something isn't working for me, or if I simply don't like a strategy, so we can make changes when necessary. Her no-size-fits-all approach is exactly what I needed!
Johanna is attentive and obviously willing to listen and understand her clients. She is kind but is willing to be tough if you need it. I trust her expertise and her willingness to help is exactly what I needed at this point in my life.
She is amazing! She encourages and really asks you questions to get you thinking. :) After speaking with her, I feel like I can go back out into the world and get back on track.
Johanna is a very good listener and sounding board. She listens to my concerns about life and always seems to offer a different perspective on things. Some stuff is so simple but when your stuck in you're thoughts the positive does not always come easily. And she teaches goat yoga (how cool is that?)
She is a very good listener and tries to understand my core problems to solve them. She makes me work on myself without forcing it, which pushes me forward in life.
Johanna is quick to identify the issues without saying much. That's the best I've experienced. I don't have to put too much effort going over painful events, she's skilled, knowledgeable and graceful enough to pick up on patterns, key experiences and an accurate reading of personal behaviour.
She loves what she does and it shows through her words, advice and face. It's genuine.
I do recommend her to anyone who want to start over and understand not just what they are dealing with, but build the hope to defeat any personal shortcomings.
I have only had 1 video session and truly look forward to the journey ahead.
She’s wonderful!
Johanna Jameson has been helping me learn to cope with the challenges of chronic illness and the anxiety and depression it causes. I am grateful for her positive thoughts and encouragement. She also has made sure to encourage me in line with my core values so that our conversations never cause anxiety or conflicts within me. I am grateful for her genuine care and encouragement on my very difficult days.
Johanna is a great listener and understands me well. She makes me feel less isolated and doesn’t make me feel like I’m being judged.
I only had a few sessions with her but I like her so far. I would recommend her.
