About me

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing for over 25 years. I have experience working with First Responders who have experienced accumulative trauma and stress. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to process thoughts, feelings, and behaviors which are resulting in stress, anxiety and depression. I have experience working with individuals who are having difficulty coping with life stressors which could include career, relationships, loss, and addictions.

The goal of my treatment approach is client driven, positive focused on areas of your life which are causing you distress. It is present and future focused, to explore changes in your life which would result in positive outcomes.

John is a father figure disguised as a therapist. He's short and sweet in messages and writing and somehow this allows you to be more open and sharing while also feeling guided. My time with him has been refreshing.
