About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 13 years of experience specializing in both relationship and family counseling for individuals, couples, children, and families. I received my Masters Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Regent University. I am licensed to provide mental health counseling in both Pennsylvania and Virginia. I specialize in working with people who suffer from anxiety and confidence issues, relationship and communication struggles, trauma, grief and loss, and medical diagnoses such as cancer.

My belief is that we all need counseling in some fashion and at some point in our lives. For some that is more situational and for others it is more of a lifelong journey. Client's have told me my approach is very down to earth, and I see it as my job to put clients at ease as they work through their issues and concerns. My therapeutic style is eclectic, starting with cognitive-behavioral therapy and borrowing from solution-focused therapy and mindfulness. I am level I certified in Gottman Counseling and have training and experience using Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition, I have experience assisting military families and veterans with the unique needs and challenges that come with serving in the armed forces. My training, experience, and skills enable me to assist my clients in developing their own personalized solutions and improving communication in their relationships. I strive to put my clients at ease as I partner with them to work through any issues or concerns that they may have. Whether your needs are short or long term, I am here to help you.
