About me

As an integrative counsellor, I collaborate with my clients to uncover and leverage their innate strengths, guiding them towards a more fulfilling life. My approach is tailored, drawing from various therapeutic methods to best meet each client's unique needs.

Central to my counselling philosophy are the principles of unconditional positive regard, congruence, and empathy. These qualities inform every interaction I have with my clients, providing a safe and supportive environment for personal growth.

My diverse background and personal experiences have deeply informed my work, particularly in the areas of addiction, anxiety, guilt, shame, and self-esteem. Having navigated these challenges personally, I bring a nuanced understanding of the pressures that can lead to unhelpful and harmful coping mechanisms. My focus is on developing healthier ways to manage these issues, tailored to the individual needs of my clients.

While I have a special interest in these specific areas, my commitment remains broad. I am dedicated to addressing any issues my clients choose to bring into our sessions, always aiming to provide the most effective support possible.

I am a registered member of the BACP and also offer relational seven-eyed supervision for fellow counsellors. This service is designed to foster professional growth and development, enhancing relational dynamics and therapeutic effectiveness.
