About me
Hello, I am John Heuvelman and I am a License Clinical Social Worker and Certified Biofeedback Practitioner.
We all are living with uncertainty during the coronavirus. I provide help adjusting, adapting and thriving during these difficult times. This past year has been one of the most difficult times of my life and possibly for the world. We all have problems. My motivation for my life’s work is helping others . We receive when we give and care for one another.
I live in Tucson, Arizona. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Arizona and my master’s degree is from Arizona State University. I have worked in Tucson for 35 years in various clinics, HMO, Universities, and medical groups. I have also taught at the college level, supervised students, and held administrative positions within different HMOs and agencies.
My focus is client centered and crisis intervention. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress management, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. I have work with teens, adults, couples, and families. I have also taught and supervised student placements at the University of Arizona and Pima College.
