Johnny Mitchell, LCSW
About me
I am a psychotherapist with 6 years experience. I am grounded in an insight-oriented therapeutic approach, while also specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Gaining insight into character, beliefs, and values, as well as the conflicting aspects of one's personality, leads to true growth, wholeness, and self-integration. Coupling these insights with the skills and techniques learned in ACT, and the perspective gained from developing a narrative about one's life, can make achieving one's goals a real possibility.
I offer a calm, reflective, and non-judgmental (but honest) approach which will make you feel comfortable sharing and exploring your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to work toward your goals and objectives with confidence and positivity. My goal is to understand your wants and needs, along with your larger goals and objectives, and to help you achieve these ambitions by providing a framework for self-exploration and self-acceptance.
