About me

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio with over 8 years of clinical experience. I have worked with clients regarding a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance problems, PTSD, relationship problems, and folks who don't have a diagnosis but just feel stuck. I have expertise working with Military/Veterans and their spouses, and with LGBTQ+ persons. My pronouns are he/him/his.

My counseling style is to utilize evidence based practices while making sure we build a strong therapeutic relationship. I will listen to you without judgement while we work through identifying your goals and help you move towards them. I always tailor treatment plans and pace to your unique needs.

Taking steps to talk a new provider shows you are motivated to make a change in your life. That is both exciting and scary! If you feel we might be a good fit together I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.

Jonah is the therapist I have been waiting all my life to find. He is incredibly empathetic, thoughtful and fun and I look forward to every single session with him. He is in tune with whatever mood I bring to our sessions and playfully guides me to what's really going on underneath without feeling clinical. I can genuinely say that his insight and guidance has helped me become a better version of myself and for that I am forever grateful!

Jonah has been so helpful on my own personal journey in coming out and finding my true self.

He's made me feel safe, strong and understood. And as scary as my process felt to me, Jonah helped strengthen my resolve and identity.

Jonah also has such amazing people skills. He speaks frankly and yet with kindness that gets to the point and makes you feel heard while giving pearls of wisdom.

Finally, Jonah listens extremely well. Not once have I felt like just another client, but like a cared for patient.
