About Me

Do you feel like no one understands what you are going through? Are you tired of telling your story (or attempting to tell your story), only to feel disappointment from people judging you, criticizing you, or making you feel like your concerns are not important?

You want someone who can understand the details of your situation. You want someone who has helped others in situations like yours. My mission is to ensure that each person who meets with me receives practical and useful help for the situations they are facing. He has been very understanding and very willing to listen to my concerns. He allows me to lead the conversations for the most part and fills in when necessary, I know that we are starting to get to know one another but I hope that our counselor patient relationship continues to grow and am thankful for this fresh beginning.

I’ve been having a rough time with making important decisions and Dr. Dunlap lets me talk things out until I can see clearly. He’s an amazing counselor and these last few weeks have really helped to put things in to perspective. Even if our sessions are just about me venting, he listens and makes suggestions on how to better the situations.

Dr. Dunlap has brought me from a dark place of feeling empty inside and feeling unloved and unworthy to realizing that I am everything I think and know that I am. He has helped me realize that I don’t have to find my self worth in other people. What I think about myself is good enough. He rejoices with me when I accomplish things and gives me a shoulder to lean on when I’m down. He also gives great advice and steps to getting better.
