Welcome! My name is Jordan Feldmann. I received my master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University in 2015. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Oklahoma with 3 years of experience working as a psychotherapist in multiple different outpatient settings. Searching for a therapist is one of the best decisions but also one of the hardest steps. You have come to the right place! I congratulate you.
My counseling approach encompasses providing a sincere and safe environment. If you do not feel safe with me, than that will be a barrier to counseling services. I have worked with adolescents and adults who have come to me with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, ADHD, divorce and life changes. It is my goal to give you the tools to use in your every day life. We will be creating a mental health “toolbox” together so that you are ready to cope with the curveballs that life sends your way.
My theoretical orientation is person-centered. However, I do incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy when necessary. Every individual is unique; therefore it is my belief that there isn’t one “perfect” theoretical orientation to use with every individual during the therapeutic journey.
I am so excited to work with you and help you create the awareness in your life that you have been striving to seek!
