Hi! My name is Josh Reed. I currently live and am licensed in the state of Ohio, but I have also lived in Tennessee and am licensed there as a Licensed Professional Counselor as well. I received my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2014. I have seven years of experience working with clients dealing with questions about depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger, mood disorders, marriage and relationship concerns, grief, parenting concerns, end of life concerns, and stage of life concerns.
I work with several different types of counseling, but always prefer to start with a person-centered approach. This allows me to learn more about you while also building a relationship with you that will assist in making the therapeutic process more successful. Once we have established an effective therapeutic relationship, we can then decide whether you need a listening ear or a more specific type of counseling such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, or Resourcing. Each and every client is different, so every client interaction will be customized to that client.
I look forward to assisting you in finding happiness in your life, regardless of what struggles you may be facing!

Josh is always there for me, even when I am not there for myself. He respects my space and autonomy, while not allowing me to "slip", he has been the perfect provider during this season of coming OUT of severe anxiety and depression.
Josh is a caring and nonjudgmental counselor. I appreciate his input on how he encourages me to see things at a different perspective.
Josh is very respectable and easy to talk to
I thinkJosh is amazing. At first I was worried because he was so young but hang in there for a couple of days and I absolutely love him now. He allows me to vent when I need to vent and he leads me and helps me when I have decisions that I need to make or when I have steps I need to take to have a better life. I am recommending two friends to better health because I love the psychologists that I have gotten.
Josh is very professional and a good listener.
I appreciate Josh's accessibility and believe he truly cares about me improving my life.
Josh is a great counselor. He really does listen and wants to get to the root issue.
Josh is very good at what he does, I have not been speaking to him long. I know that he cares and he really wants to get to what causes the problems you have. He is respectful and reminds you that God is there for you.
Genuinely caring & qualified person, great listener, offers helpful insight and applicable coping skills. Immensely helpful.
Josh was very helpful and gave great advice!
Josh seems qualified and has shown the ability to ask good questions. I find his responses are quick and thoughtful. He has helped me to get out of my own head and see more of the full picture.
This was my first time ever reaching out for any kind of therapy. Josh made my experience easy and I had no problems opening up. I'm very happy with the progress I've made in such a short time.
Josh helps me so much. I know that I take the steps in my own well-being, but he's always there with perspective and guidance and advice.
Josh is amazing and definitely knows the "bigger picture" questions to ask. I really appreciate when he checks in on me without any prompting from my end.
Josh is amazing
