About me
Hello, my name is Joshua Connor. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I graduated from Western Illinois University with my Bachelor's of Social Work in 2014 and my Master's of Social Work, Clinical Concentration and specialization in Gerontology in 2017. I have worked in healthcare for the past 10 years in a variety of roles, including- community based mental health, hospital social work, palliative care, home care social work, and working with individuals with chronic and end-stage diseases. I have worked with individuals in addressing depression, anxiety, adjustment to chronic health issues, and in working through other various life stressors.
I believe in a patient-centered, holistic approach in providing counseling. I believe in treating everyone with with the utmost courtesy, respect, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and mindfulness techniques- all tailored to meet your unique and specific needs.

Joshua is a great and caring therapist. I think his greatest strength has been getting me to affirm myself as an individual, leading me to believe it for myself. 10/10 would recommend!
