About me

Making your decision to come to therapy is one of courage, especially if it is your first time seeking a therapist. My goal when meeting you is to help create a collaborative working relationship where you can understand yourself and what you would like to change. The best version of yourself is awaiting you, and removing the obstacles that lay between you and living with purpose and meaning will be the focus of our work together. I specialize in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, sexual/pornography addiction, marital difficulties, life transitions, anger issues and autism. Most of my work is with adults and adolescents, however, I also enjoy working with children and families as well.

I received my doctorate from The Institute for the Psychological Sciences in 2017. My graduate studies integrated the Christian faith with empirical psychology which helped me to more fully understand the workings of the human person (body, soul, emotion, and mind). My research focused on developing a virtue based treatment for men struggling with compulsive pornography use. Additionally, I received training with more severe psychological disorders with Meier Clinics, Christian based and nationally recognized organization.

I look forward to meeting you and learning about where you are on your journey.
