About me

Warmest greetings and welcome,

I look forward to listening to your story. The root of all good therapy is compassion and non-judgement because every human needs someone to listen at difficult times, and I provide you a safe place to hear yourself.
Together we will look at your unique life, comfort your pain, identify some possible changes, plan what you are willing to do, and what can not change. So, even if now feels overwhelming, honor that you had the courage to look for therapy. I will help you make a positive difference.
My strong confidence in your ability to create your life is rooted in many years of guiding adults during critical life events. I only work with individuals because I believe every person deserves a private time to be heard, and to explore their experiences, beliefs and strengths.
I teach practical, holistic, evidence-based skills from the latest science. I also honor the wisdom of master teachers from many cultures and across time. By gift and by training I am intuitive, empathic and focused on the therapy technique most suited to you at that moment.

So, come work with me, but let us agree to four absolutes for every session:

Non-judgement- Every person is unique.

Absolute Confidentiality - Everything is confidential
unless you plan to harm yourself or another.

Honesty - You can only heal by speaking your truth.

Focus - Real therapy is hard work. You are important.
NO phones, media, children, pets or other
people are allowed in your session.

Judy has been amazing. Her approach and non-judgment of me and my situation has allowed me to be open with her and has helped me heal from some current difficult situations - along with helping me see how past experiences have shaped me. She is professional, caring, knowledgeable, and talking with her feels like being wrapped in a comfy blanket and in a safe hug. Yes, sounds cheesy. She is able to notice the little things and has helped me be more aware of my responses and reactions to difficult topics. You can tell that she has lived life, and has landed in a place of being okay with things - and that she truly wants her patients to make it through whatever they are experiencing in a way that is better as well.

I've worked with many counselors/therapists over the years, and I can honestly say Judy is by far the best one. She provides real insight and offers meaningful suggestions and practices, and I have made more progress with her than anyone previously. I'm so grateful to have found someone I really connect with and would absolutely recommend her.
