Warmest greetings and welcome,
You are a capable and resilient person seeking help to stop hurting, feel better about yourself, or reach a life goal. You want to be well.
I teach practical, evidence-based methods from the latest science of well-being, but I honor the ancient masters from many cultures. The tools I send you are science of behavior for your future, not the tragedy of your past. Once you learn the tools, they are yours forever and you can share them with others. My clients are successful because I am caring, knowledgeable and practical, and I support you with hope and encouragement. I am 100% confident in your potential. I truly know how resilient you can be, even if you suffer greatly and don't fully believe in yourself today.
These are the agreements we make for every session:
Non-judgement- Every person is unique. Your individual recovery is your journey and cannot be created by anyone other than you.
Total Honesty - You can only achieve emotional healing by speaking your truth.
Absolute Confidentiality - Anything that is said in session is confidential.
Focus - Therapy is hard work. You are responsible to be present as if you were in my brick office. Children, pets or other people are not allowed in our time.
I see betterhelp clients by phone or video on Mon and Weds afternoon/evenings and all day Tuesday.
I work with individuals because I believe each person deserves a private time to identify their inner strengths. From a healthy self, you will create healthy relationships.
I do not provide counseling to couples or families or teens.
Take advantage of my many years of experience with people from all over AZ; choose me as your guide.
I will send you papers just as you would sign at any doctor's visit.
If you are interested, below are answers to questions clients new to betterhelp.com often ask me about how it works:
^When you choose me as your therapist, I get a notice. I will send you an email asking you to write me about yourself and what brings you to therapy. I read my
messages each morning, noon and evening, and sometimes in between.
^One of the benefits of online therapy is you can write me anytime from anywhere. Right at the moment you have a question or emotion, you write a little or a lot. This
extends and enriches the benefit of therapy. I check my emails in an effort to answer you within 24-hours. I do not keep office hours Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
^ After you write your intro, we will schedule a time to talk. You must be online for me to phone you; all connections are through the betterhelp.com secure line. We
can do phone or video sessions, your choice.
^ I will also send some standardized forms for you to complete and send back to me. All privacy and legal rules apply just as if you came to see me in a brick office.
^I do a 45-minute introductory session and we will set a schedule for our continuing calls. We both make a commitment to that time each week.
^Additionally, you are responsible to be where you are safe to talk without others hearing or interrupting you, just as if you were in my brick office.
I when we talk, I will answer any additional questions.
- Stress, Anxiety
- Trauma and abuse
- Self esteem
- Coping with life changes
I also have experience in Bipolar disorder, Depression, Compassion fatigue, ADHD

Judy has helped me see more clearly what I want to work on in my life. I’m still new to the whole therapy thing and having someone like Judy who’s straight forward and professional is helpful.
Judy is a calming and centered influence and obviously present and acutely aware.
I appreciate working with her.
Judy is patient, kind, and wise. She is knowledgeable and on top of current research and strategies which she implements into my treatment. She is helping me with anxiety, depression, and self confidence. I feel heard, respected, and cared for while working with her. She offers great suggestions and has alternatives when something does not work for me. Judy has been helping me to build a toolbox of skills for a better life while also hearing me out to "get things off my chest". In line with more recent research, she works toward teaching me to build strategies for a happy, fulfilled life, rather than simply aiming for a "non-depressed" life.
I enjoyed our first session. Judy and I share similar experiences. I can connect with her!
Judy is so wonderful. There are no words to describe just how much she has helped me. She helped recognize my trauma and heal from it.
Judy is intuitive, adaptive and full of guiding patience.
She is the best. She is always checking in on me, even when I’m in the dark. She is so encouraging and supportive.
Judy is great!
Judy is an amazing counselor. She is so patient and kind. Judy is great about helping me emotionally process while being present in the moment. Looking forward to continuing to work with her.
Judy is so absolutely fantastic. I don’t have enough good words to say about her. She understands me at a very deep level, and even without in person sessions, she picks up on my current state and helps me reframe difficulties. I feel so lucky to have found her!!!
Judy is very sweet. She is a great listener, she offers comfort and advice, but doesn't tell me what I should do... more like asks questions and helps to guide me. She's knowledgeable and kind. I feel I've made real progress with her by my side.
After a long road to starting my mental health journey, I am so thankful to have been matched with Judy. She is an amazing listener, wise, and truly cares about her patients. In just the short time I've known her, I felt that we have already made so much progress together. I am looking forward to continue working with her.
Judy is awesome!
