About me

Hello and welcome to Better Help. My name is Judy Hadley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri, U.S.A. I have worked in this field for 13 years assisting clients with multiple concerns and conditions. I utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which not only helps clients during therapy but gives them lifelong tools to address difficulties, Dialectical Skill, and Supportive therapy. I am not trained to work with trauma.
Our initial work will involve you identifying problem areas in your life and the goals you would like to attain. We will also identify strengths and skills you already have developed in your life. In CBT we will work to identify any thoughts that might be inhibiting you from attaining your goals or functioning productively and initiate behavioral activation that you feel capable of doing. I believe gaining additional skills or using current skills more effectively is an important part of progress. I believe coaching is important as we make progress and welcome contact throughout the week in between sessions. I have provided supportive therapy to LGBTQ individuals and welcome anyone that would be appropriate. I am available seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. I generally will work with short term clients facing stressors that we can work to resolve.
