About me
My name is Judy Whitcher and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California for 2 years and was licensed as same in Arkansas for 15 years.
I have experience working with a wide range of disorders including anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues. domestic violence. Child abuse, schizophrenia and family issues. My biggest focus is women's issues as well as working through anxiety and panic disorders.
I believe in a caring and kind approach using active listening and unconditional positive regard. I believe in creating a safe space where clients can really talk about and process the issues they are going through. I also use a cognitive behavioral approach to assist clients in changing the negative thinking and developing a more positive outlook on life and learning new strategies to overcome challenges.
I believe that learning to focus on hope, healing and overcoming life's challenges is essential for healing and happiness.

Great listener. Attentive. Knows what I’m thinking. Takes her time. Very respectful.
